Maddi Friedhof is the daughter of Karl Kirchhof, who was a wizard and necromanceer. She was raised by her father in his hidden magical laboratory, and trained to assist him to the limit of her abilities, hence the academic skills she has. Her father was killed by adventurers, and Maddi was confined by the priests of Morr until they were satisfied that she knew no Necromantic magic; they couldn't legaly burn a nine-year-old girl just because she was her father's daughter. Upon her release, she was placed with an old couple (distant relatives) in Middenheim....

It is severely opposed to the Forbidden Gods (Chaos and Khaine) but is forbidden itself, due to its subversive beliefs....
Once a wizardly adviser to Baron Gidaspov of Waldavia-Mollachia in the Border Princes, Igor took an interest in elemental magick through his researches for the Baron. Before long he was summoning water sprites and dancing fingers of flame beside the lake beneath the Baron's castle; such summonings used to entertain the children, as Igor takes pleasure in demonstrations of his magical ability. The Baron, on the other hand, saw such summonings as being dangerously close to demonology, and summonings of any kind were banned from his locality....

Unfortunately for her, her master was discovered by the local populace. While he had some very powerful magic items in his collection and a very well choosen secret hide-out the mob of irate villagers did destroy his cornicopia of food. Therefore Hyther became an assasin to foot the bills....
He does not lard his hair, and baldness has stripped the front half of his crest. He Is grim, officious, and tempered like an old drill seargeant. He rises at dawn, and is about his days buisiness by an hour later, and will be drunk within 2 hours of finishing his tasks for the day. He will be friendly to all who treat him with respect, and bop upside the head ANYONE rude in his presence (not for damage if he makes his cool check.)...
