Solkan -- Law God of Vengeance and Retribution

by Alfred Nunez

Solkan is the brother of Alluminas (god of heavenly illumination) and brother/consort of Arianka (goddess of law and discipline) and is the angry god of vengeance and retribution. He is most often depicted as a tall, intense man on the edge of fury. Solkan is usually attired either in shiny armor or in black clothing with a wide brim black hat. In either appearance, Solkan is always armed with his flaming sword of vengeance, Flammendrung...

Cult of Khaine

by Alfred Nunez

Khaine is the dread Lord of Murder-- the patron of assassins and murderers-- and God of the Undead. It is said that he is jealous of his elder brother Morr's rulership over the world of the dead. Khaine steals the souls of those unprotected by a cult and those murdered or sacrificed in his name. With these souls he builds his own dark realm, a realm from where Necromancers call forth some of the Undead spirits. Khaine is depicted as a grotesque, squatting daemonic being with a huge, leering fanged mouth, a great horned head, and four arms, each holding a bloody dagger. He also wears a necklace of innumerable skulls. Khaine is an insane god worshipped either by murderous men or would-be Necromancers eager to wield the powers Khaine offers in return for service. Khaine is generous to those who add to his dark realm with offerings of blood and murdered souls....

Atagaro - The Beast God

by Brian Hull

Atagro is a huge vicious creature clad in glistening black armor and crowned with a fierce, horned helm atop his blackened, skeletal head. Atagro’s eyes burn with a fiery luminance, and he wears a huge shroud-like cloak. Tormented, vaguely human wretches struggle and writhe to peer out from under its folds. Atagro’s armor is decorated with all the symbols of chaos, as he was once their most powerful champion. His hands are filthy and rotted; capped with grim steel talons and dark metal studs. Atagro’s weapon, Kagorr, is a huge tooth edged sword with a second blade extending from the handle. The mighty god wields the blade with whirling grace and deadly precision. Kagorr is the most powerful weapon of chaos ever created and less powerful blades of similar appearance are often granted to Atagro’s followers....

Arianka - Goddess of Law and Discipline

by Ian Ward

Arianka, sister of Solkan and Alluminas and consort of Solkan, is the embodiment of law and discipline. In the distant past, Tzeentch, changer of the ways, saw Arianka as a great threat to his plans and imprisoned her in a crystal coffin which can be opened only by a set of keys, hidden somewhere in the world but whose whereabouts are unknown. Many Old Worlders believe Arianka is nothing more than legend....

Alluminas - Master of Light, Lord of Enlightenment

by Ian Ward

Alluminas, esoteric brother of Arianka and Solkan, embodies a pure, unchanging light which renders anything it strikes unmoving and unchanging, and the idea of total divine enlightenment. His worshippers are few in the Old World, but his centre of worship lies in the far eastern states of Cathay and Nippon, where he has several monastic orders, the Monks of the Light (or 'White Monks': you might like to use the monk careers in the archives or just use the normal cleric careers as an approximation). Nipponese worshippers know Alluminas as Annu-Minato....

Praag

by Chris Clements

Praag, the city of the defeated, is enwrapped with huge moss covered stone walls resting on the flat wheatland of Kislev. To the north, just a few hundred feet away from the city proper snakes the cold River Lynsk, which is frozen over for most of the winter months. The city itself is pivotal in staving off the migration of chaos and many battles have been fought at its walls....
