A new creature inspired by the book 'Servant of the Bones' by Anne Rice. Thanks to all at the Warhammer Mailing List for their constructive critiscism, that made the Servant a better monster than I could have done myself....
This has probably been done already but what the hell! Most of this was taken from the very first edition of WFB! The box was white and had a chaos warrior on the front beating up a skeleton with a hammer! I think it was about 1984....
Here is a monster for your consideration. It has proved itself to be a wonderful menace for many groups of players. It is especially useful in ruins and caves where the players have a hard time retreating from them and a good chance of awakening them....
The Champion of Law can be anyone who serves well one of the four known Gods of Law: Alluminas, Master of Light; Solkan, Master of Vengeance; Daora, Patron of Ultimate Wisdom and Enlightenment; and Arianka, Mistress of the Moon and the Chaos Hunt. The ordinary, unadventurous inhabitants of the Old World know either very little about the Lords of Law or fear and distrust their worshippers as much as they fear and distrust Chaos worshippers. They see them as two sides of the same coin, which technically, they are. To some, namely the spirited and righteous, Law offers hope in an increasingly chaotic world where justice is rare and suffering runs rampant. To these few adventurers, Law gives aid so that they may correct the ills brought about upon humans and others by the Powers of Chaos...
Mean Green and Ugly - the improved ORC for WFRP - Since GW vamped Orcs up for Warhammer Hal Eccles thought he'd share with us what he has done to bring the WFRP Orcs back into the fold....
Hmm... Well, I can see it's a long time since I made this creature. Never knew I used to be so fond of power-playing in my youth. Beware of some incredible stats. As a defence I can say that the Hornling was created with the rules presented in Realms of Chaos II: The Lost and the Damned. Take a deep breath, and be prepared to laugh......
These are the messengers of the Gods. They are the spirit form of that particular gods' minor demons, and one is assigned to each Cleric, to ensure that he/she doesn't step out of line, and to generally keep in touch with each of the deities representitives on the world. It is through harbingers that the clerics learn their spells, and gain spell points on a day to day basis....
This is best used when the PCs are in a vaguely remote area eg Grey Mountains where it is possible for a giant to wander freely!...
Here's one of the first adventures I wrote when was introduced to WFRP. I guess it would have developed quite different if I had to rewrite it again, but hey, I had only played WFRP once or twice........
Altdorf, the capital of the Empire, the home of Emperor Karl-Franz. Recently the Emperor has decided (thanks to the advice of his aide Hugo de Brinnon) to create a new Chancellor to be his right hand man. This new Chancellor would of course be a hereditary position which would give Karl and his successors a life long ally and friend in the Chancellorship. The Emperor chose a trusted comrade of his who has distinguished himself in many campaigns against the enemies of the Empire, this man is Erich von Steeche....
