Forbidden Books in WFRP

by Eric Oppen

In the Old World, there are many forbidden cults, and all of them have holy books. Sometimes it seems like a person can't really call himself the High Priest of a Proscribed Cult without writing a big thick book all about it. Herewith a few sample books that PCs may stumble across....

Kidnapped!

by Noel Welsh

This adventure is set in Nuln, and is suitable for a group of first to third career characters. You may want to get hold of the various documents at the Warhammer Archives which deal with the city, particularly the Old City by Noel Welsh and the Nuln Outline by Thomas Oesterlie. The adventure involves the PCs in a search for two ladies, Josephine Wuillendorf and her friend Shevaun von Syyvan, who have been kidnapped by the Valantina gang. The PCs will travel in the countryside near Wursthiem, about Nuln in search of clues, and eventually under the city in a race against time to save the ladies. The adventure is of an investigative nature, and as such is probably not suitable for those who wave their swords about at every opportunity....

nto the Mages' Coffin

by J. Lambregts, F. Lubbers

The adventures starts of in a little village in the direct surroundings of Nuln. This place, called Astebia, is an especially boring place for our noble adventurers to be. Give'm a reason to get here, or imporvise a bit. My players had just accompagnied a caravan of goods, which they guarded with their life. It paid them 7 GC each, but the stay in Astebia costed and equal amount on beer and food. (Altough I think it was mainly the beer!) Now the guys get bored and leave the village, maybe going to their base? It should at least take about 1 week to get there! This is where the fun starts of......

In pursuit of the Slann...

by Leonidas Vesperini

This great Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay scenario is written for an experienced GM with 4 to 6 advanced players. In this epic story they'll get to learn an mythical person. To cross the dark plans of a mighty Daemon the PC's will have to travel a long and hazardous road. At last they'll be introduced to a person of the ancient, long lost civilisation of former Universe Rulers: the Slann. The descriptions of places visited are kept short, so the GM can use his own tale telling gifts....

The inquisition comes to town

by Michael Andersen

ere is a little encounter to be used in your WFRP campaign. The encounter can be used to complicate another scenario which should take place in a minor village in the Ulric devoted lands and possibly involving the finding of a secret Chaos cult or something like that. I have used it in my own campaign. One character was lost, but he was asking for it. He wasnt actually killed by the inquisition but left Chained in the mercy of the city as a true heretic, and the other players was responsible for his killing - They had to in order to roleplay their characters, the man preached the lore of Khaine!...

THE INFINITY ROAD

by O. Cooper

This little incident is a brief encounter usable when the PCs are travelling across country or along a deserted road. It is designed to be dropped into such a journey and as such does not rely too much on peoples and places that may be in my campaign/games, but unusable in yours. Use it or abuse it as you will. This encounter should be placed miles from the nearest habitation, and is suitable for any part of the Old World or Albion....

The Hot Tub Inn & Surrounds

by noel welsh

Located in the Artisan's Quarter, De Satz Square contains a natural spring which supplies water to the surrounding area. The spring has an elegant fountain built around it, and is known as Maiyir's Font. The water flows into large stone basin, in which inhabitants of the Square bathe (when they're not at the Hot Tub), and draw their water from. Surrounding the Square are the houses of the local residents. Three buildings may be of interest to travellers: The Hot Tub Inn, Ragnok Teln's Smithy, and Elka's Apothecary....

BtT scenario add-on. Spoilers.

by Peter Gifford

ere's a second messy, unfinished scenario piece by Peter Gifford. While playing Power Behind the Throne, my players forced me into several new avenues by their weird and wonderful role playing inventiveness......
